My interests converge on the preservation of dying and endangered languages. I’m especially interested in how sociolinguistic and computational methods can support revitalization — and, when that is no longer possible, help document and preserve what remains.

My path here has been deliberately interdisciplinary. I graduated from the University of Maryland in 2018 with a B.S. in Computer Science, a B.A. in Linguistics, and a B.A. in Classical Languages & Literatures, then earned my master’s in Computational Linguistics from the University of Washington in 2023. Today, I build software at Microsoft. That combination of technical and humanities training shapes both the questions I ask and how I approach them.
